We are delighted to announce that our Bergey Excel 10kW wind turbine has received the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) accreditation, confirming its status as the best wind turbine solution in its class. This news comes as the government slashes its generous Feed-In Tariff rates for new solar installations, tempting many to consider the benefits of a small turbine system instead.

The MCS accreditation is a recognised distinction linked to the payment of Feed-In Tariffs for small scale wind turbines, assuring the product has undergone rigorous testing with regards to performance and reliability. With its robust and simple design, proven performance and ten year warranty – unique in the marketplace – it’s no surprise the Bergey Excel 10kW has a world renowned track record in the small scale wind turbine market.

Patrick Dormon, Managing Director of SIAC Wind Energy, commented: “We always focus on providing a professional service and the highest quality products to our customers, and the MCS certificate verifies this commitment. As the sole UK distributor of the Bergey Excel 10kW wind turbine, we are delighted it has received this key accreditation in the UK, in addition to its SWCC certification.

“A micro wind turbine offers a fantastic return on investment without many of the controversial planning restrictions that larger systems face. The Bergey Excel 10kW wind turbine supplies a notably cost-effective and reliable solution within the microgeneration sector.”
