Additional income. 

All new wind turbine projects in the UK are eligible for the Government’s ‘Feed-in-Tariff’ payments, where you receive cash for generating energy from renewables plus any surplus energy you sell back to the Grid. Once registered, this is guaranteed until 2030......

.....but don't forget that by connecting a Bergey to the grid through your consumer unit as opposed to a direct grid connection, the superior benefit of free use of energy should continue for a further 30 years!  Depending on future escalating energy costs this alone may generate even better return than the first 20 years of Feed-In-Tariff income!

If you need electricity, but have no access to the National Grid, then using small turbines alongside a battery system with a generator just as back-up provides the perfect solution.
